Interactions With Light : : February 2015 : : Chicago Art Department

Interactions with light is a collaborative exploration of Galina Shevchenko and Connie Wolfe that took place at CAD EAST Chicago Art department Gallery on February 13-28, 2015. For the time of the exhibition the CAD East Gallery had been transformed into an immersive landscape of light and movement created by interactive relationships of suspended ephemeral entities of Connie Wolfe and animated videos of Galina Shevchenko. The artists collaborated in exploration of synthetic relationships within the constructed image/space immersion. Clusters of subtle objects reminiscent of natural phenomena populated the gallery and interacted with the light and projected matter to transform both the perception of space and the content of the projected media.
